"City Of Shadows" Black & White Film
One of my early photography assessments which required us to shoot in and develop film.
I had acquired an Olympus Trip 35 from a pawn shop and took the opportunity to do some urban exploring, I sadly ruined my rolls of film from the Leopard Street Tunnel expedition under Wooloongabba but one of my following explorations took me inside the abandoned morgue at Brisbane’s Queen’s Wharf.
The major constraint with the Olympus Trip 35 was its limited Shutter speed settings, which was limited to 4.

Surrealism
Second term in 2020 we still had the odd online class due to covid, covid still being fresh on everyone’s minds.
The virus and environmental issues were on top of my mind when we were briefed with our surrealism assignment so I combined the 2 themes with a lot of experimentation.
